Consultation response on a report concerning IVF-treatment with donated gametes from the National Board of Health and Welfare

The Swedish National Council on Medical Ethics has responded to a report regarding IVF-treatment with donated gametes from the National Board of Health and Welfare. The Board suggests that the law is changed in order to make it possible for other care providers than university hospitals to offer this kind of treatment.

The Council for example underlines the importance of maintaining a high level of security for the patients and high quality treatments even in the future.
